Based on the lyrics 'You'll Never Walk Alone', the image uses player's footprints as the basis for the artwork giving fans a personal, intimate piece of a true Liverpool legend.

Artist Phil Disley recently had the pleasure of meeting 2014 Premier League top goal scorer, PFA Player of the Year, Liverpool and Uruguay striker Luis Suarez.

Inspired by the LFC song 'You'll Never Walk Alone', 'El Pistolero!' is exclusively on sale through ‘Footballer Footprints’. This is a limited edition print run of only fifty complete with photographic documentation of the process and certificate of authenticity. A refreshing slant on traditional portraiture, Phil uses player footprints as the basis for the image, literally letting the players feet do the talking! Phil is giving fans a personal, intimate piece of a footballing legend.

'El Pistolero' is 46cm x 68cm Giclee print on 100% cotton canvas stretched over kiln-dried Scandinavian battens and is signed both by Luis and Phil.

About the Artist

Phil Disley is acknowledged as one of Britain’s foremost Illustrators. His work has regularly appeared in such esteemed publications as The Times, The Guardian, The Spectator, The Financial Times, The London Evening Standard, Esquire, GQ Magazine, Classic FM, Tatler, The Wall Street Journal, The Los Angeles Times and Marketing Week.

Accolades include a silver medal from The Association Of Illustrators for his depiction of Winston Churchill in The Guardian. In 2011, Phil was included in the British Cartoon archive for his political work in The Guardian and Independent newspapers.
